Open Remark on importance of promoting and providing protection for digital rights

The second day of Phnom Penh Internet Freedom starts with the open remarks of Mr Sadar Umar, representative of UNSECO to Cambodia. Mr Sadar Umar highlighted the importance of promoting and providing protection for digital rights in a digital society and economy.

Results of the Consultative Workshops

Mr. Ith Sothoeuth, representative of Digital Rights Working Group, delivered the presentation from the results of the consultative workshops. The workshops were divided into four groups such as Online harassment and Freedom of Expression of journalists/ media outletsInclusiveness and Internet (Indigenous communities, People with disabilities, LGBTQI+) Engagement with the private sectorCriminalization of online Freedom of Expression.
