The second day of Phnom Penh Internet Freedom starts with the open remarks of Mr Sadar Umar, representative of UNSECO to Cambodia. Mr Sadar Umar highlighted the importance of promoting and providing protection for digital rights in a digital society and economy.
The first Panel discussion of Phnom Penh Internet Forum on the Development of Digital and Legal Frameworks on the Internet. The discussion insightfully focused on the legal framework related to the internet and surveillance and internet censorship in Cambodia and in Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific regions.
